    I did some profiling on wp-admin and found out that wp_enqueue_media() has performance issues. That’s a WordPress core feature so has nothing to do with this plugin, but with every page load in wp-admin this slow function is called by Quick Featured Images. To avoid that and only call this heavy function when the plugin is actually used it’s possible to add the following lines to Quick_Featured_Images_Pro_Tools->enqueue_admin_scripts(). It’s a quick example and seems to work:

    if(strstr($hook, 'quick-featured') == false) {
        return;
    }

    Thank you for the hint. I will take a look and implement a check to only load the scripts when necessary.

    Is this still current or has it already been resolved?
