I have a lot of posts with images that aren’t embedded as absolute URL’s.
So they are on my domain http://www.stylebubble.co.uk but embedded into posts like this:
<a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/0E5A9622.jpg"><img src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/0E5A9622.jpg" alt="0E5A9622" width="800" height="1200" /></a> <a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/0E5A9643.jpg"><img src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/0E5A9643.jpg" alt="0E5A9643" width="800" height="1200" /></a>
QFIP can’t seem to find any of these images when I try to bulk set first image in post, and I’ve tried all the options.

QFIP can consider those paths. Please tell the URL of the page containing these paths.January 17, 2018 at 11:16 pm #12201
http://stylebubble.co.uk/style_bubble/2014/09/100-u.html This is an example of a post containing the relative image URLs.
Please let me know why QFIP can’t seem to find a featured image for these sorts of URL’s.
Thanks!January 18, 2018 at 12:33 am #12202
Thank you for the example. QFIP considers those URLs! The first approach ‘Take the first post image if available in the media library’ is the right one for it.
A reason could be the non-existence in the media library, often due to a former migration in the past from the old server to the current server. Is the first image of that post available in the library?January 18, 2018 at 9:43 am #12210
No it isn’t in the current media library. It’s a migration in the past from the old server. So that’s why I tried the other two options, the domain one and also the external URL.January 18, 2018 at 10:48 pm #12236
That should work with the approach “Take the first post image from current site domain, copy and add it to the media library if not available there”. Did you try it?January 18, 2018 at 11:02 pm #12238
Yes i did and it didn’t work.January 20, 2018 at 10:43 pm #12278
Hi there just wondering if you could look at the backend to see why it wasn’t pulling the images…
I purchased the Pro version so that I could use this function!January 20, 2018 at 10:51 pm #12279
I would take a look. Please mail me the login credentials to email@example.com.February 10, 2018 at 9:36 pm #12668MiniParticipant
Hi Could I also get some help with this. I have the same problem.
Trying to grab the images in a post such as this using “Take the first external post image, download it and add it to the media library” with no luck.

In the post you linked there is no image. An address to an image file is insufficient. It has to be an embedded image.
