I bought the pro version hoping I could override an annoyance in the Twenty-Sixeteen WordPress theme. If I assign a featured image to a page, it automatically inserts that image onto the page when I publish it. What I would like to do is manually set a featured image but NOT have it show up on the page or post if I don’t want it to.

On my blog posts, I know I can set it to use the first image. On my pages, however, I don’t always have an image on the page I want to use, I’d rather set it to something different. Is this possible?

Hi Heather, you can set the image for each page manually on the edit screen of each page. Is that possible for you?

Yes, I can set the featured image manually on the edit screen. No matter how I set it (manually or with the plugin), it inserts the image at the top of the page the moment I publish it.
